Mr. Carnine is an extremely respectable person and undoubtedly one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is passionate about teaching and genuinely cares about the well-being of his students. He has done nothing to deserve the trouble he is being put through right now. #SaveMrCarnine

i was in Mr. Carnine's class 3 years ago and he was one of the best teachers I have ever had. Him getting accused of being racist is not ok, I would never believe he would say anything racist in his classroom, and I hope the school reinstates him as soon as possible.

My daughter had Mr.Carnine last year for 6th Grade. As a family, we were constantly impressed with the topics that our daughter covered each day in Mr. Carnine's class. It opened up a dialogue that we may not otherwise have discussed from history to current events. It would be so disappointing to lose a teacher that is actually teaching the ability to think. I hope for the best for Mr. Carnine and that this is resolved quickly.

My daughter had Mr.Carnine last year for 6th Grade. As a family, we were constantly impressed with the topics that our daughter covered each day in Mr. Carnine's class. It opened up a dialogue that we may not otherwise have discussed from history to current events. It would be so disappointing to lose a teacher that is actually teaching the ability to think. Mr. Carnine is a not only a fantastic person, but an incrediable teacher, as I found out when my son had his class. The best class at PR and where my son's love of history began. He NEVER heard any inappropriate words by Mr. Carnine. His is not a racist, but a passionate teacher and leader in the school.

Mr. Carnine and his classes were probably what made my middle school experience so enjoyable. I always loved his projects, and I ate lunch in his classroom on a daily basis in sixth grade. I'm in ninth grade now, and over the years I can still say Mr. Carmine is my favorite teacher ever. i can't believe that a wonderful teacher and person like him would ever be accused of something like this.

Mr. Carnine and his classes were probably what made my middle school experience so enjoyable. I always loved his projects, and I ate lunch in his classroom on a daily basis in sixth grade. I'm in ninth grade now, and over the years I can still say Mr. Carmine is my favorite teacher ever. i can't believe that a wonderful teacher and person like him would ever be accused of something like this.

My daughter Kerry is in Mr. Carnine's 6th grade class and constantly talks about the amazing things he teaches them in his class. When I asked her about the accusations, Kerry quickly responded that there is no way anything like that would be true. He has constantly taught the 6th grade class tolerance and how intolerance has caused such damage throughout history. What bothers me most is that this seems to be ripped out of the pages of history -- the Salem witch trials. Accusations without evidence, guilt assumed, etc. Removing Mr. Carnine from the class without allowing him a proper proceeding harms all his current students. There are well over 30 witnesses to the events, so this isn't some "he said/she said" incident. This can and should be reviewed immediately. If not, I propose the class start reading "The Crucible" immediately. Or perhaps the biography of Senator Joe McCarthy. They might get a greater insight to how knowing your history is always important.

I am a student in Mr. Carnine's 6th grade class and I am very disappointed that Mr. Carnine will not be here tomorrow because he is such an awesome teacher. I am so very angry that my education that I prize quite highly is being disturbed by an unjust squabble. I am not a witness but I know him well enough to know that this is not a thing that he would ever say. I say this injustice must stop! Mr. Carnine is an amazing, unique, caring, talented, generous, and quite frankly brilliant teacher and person. He, of all people should not be accused of this.
