It is egregious to suspend a teacher for being accused by someone who has a history of accusing teachers of this very thing.

Mr. Carnine is a more than amazing teacher who does everything he can to help my class and I learn more. He always lets us engage ourselves in discussions and if we have any questions on anything he is more than happy to answer them. He is a beautifully passionate teacher who always takes his time reading and enjoying our projects and essays. I can tell he is a truly dedicated teacher. Mr. Carnine pushes me to be a better student and to involve myself more into different activities. Because of Mr. Carnine I tried different things that turned out to be fun and helped me learn more. Mr. Carnine is an unbelievable teacher that without him my amazing experience at Paul Revere would be incomplete.

Mr. Carnine was my 6th grade teacher last year, and he was the greatest. This is so unfair and not right. He encouraged students to learn and be themselves, which is why this is so hard to believe. He got so involved that you couldn't help but be entertained. I hope this is resolved soon because he is one of the best teachers at Revere.

Even though Mr. Carnine was not my sixth grade teacher, I often visited his class after school hours with a few friends, who were students of his. Judging from the pleasant, albeit few interactions I had with Mr. Carnine, along with numerous and positive remarks from my friends, I can conclude that Mr. Carnine is a brilliant teacher and a lovely person, who would never use derogatory remarks with malice. If Mr. Carnine did indeed use any of these words, I am convinced that he was using them to provide necessary historical context only.

Even though Mr. Carnine was not my sixth grade teacher, I often visited his class after school hours with a few friends, who were students of his. Judging from the pleasant, albeit few interactions I had with Mr. Carnine, along with numerous and positive remarks from my friends, I can conclude that Mr. Carnine is a brilliant teacher and a lovely person, who would never use derogatory remarks with malice. If Mr. Carnine did indeed use any of these words, I am convinced that he was using them to provide necessary historical context only.

I had the privilege of being taught by Mr. Carnine 3 years ago, in 6th grade History. Over three years have passed and I have never been so well-prepared in any field of learning because of a single teacher. His class was such a perfect combination of fun and teaching that I never watched the clock in his class, waiting for the bell to ring. I sat there, among dozens of other kids like me, laughing with him, talking to him, and learning from him. I have had over 20 different teachers of different subjects since his class, and still, as able and great as some of those teachers have been, I can say with one hundred percent certainty that not one of them comes close to replicating my love of Mr. Carnine's class. I can't bring myself to believe he would ever say anything with a racist intent, and would bet my life that he isn't in the remotest sense racist. Removing him from Paul Revere would not only be a disservice to the hundreds of students attending the school, but to the entire world; as the students of today are the teachers of tomorrow.

My daughter is in the history class in question, she witnessed all the discussions regarding race and they have been taken out of context the lessons were meant to teach that racial stereotypes are wrong

Mr. Carnine is an extremely respectable person and undoubtedly one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is passionate about teaching and genuinely cares about the well-being of his students. He has done nothing to deserve the trouble he is being put through right now. #SaveMrCarnine
