Mr. Carnine was the first teacher I ever had that actually expected his students to work hard. He came off as abrasive, which is probably why many students are willing to believe these false accusations, but that style is what demanded students to care! What other teacher can make an entire class of students remember that the Mesopotamians invented cuneiform 10 years after they took his class? He cares more about his students than almost any teacher I've ever had. If it were not for him I would not have I would not have the same passion for learning that I do now. I would not have gotten into Dartmouth. I would not be on my way to a successful career. Do not let this man be fired without hearing the facts. Innocent until proven guilty, especially for those who have contributed so much to the community.

Mr. Carnine has changed my daughters life. She has never been so inspired - ever - and it is because of this remarkable and fair man. She talks about human rights constantly as a result of his unibarsed and democratic way. I feel she could not be getting a better education from such a gifted teacher and human, and I worry about what message we are teaching by giving such power to an accusation without thoroughly researching it - the opposite of what our system purports. I hope that as he is such a phenomenal history teacher he will see his journey thorugh this - and teach it soon to the children as another example of truth and justice winning the day.

Mr. Carnine has changed my daughters life. She has never been so inspired - ever - and it is because of this remarkable and fair man. She talks about human rights constantly as a result of his unibarsed and democratic way. I am also a former student of Mr. Carnine. He was definitely one of my favorite teachers. No one can replace him and nobody would want to. He is the best. Please don't fire the last caring teacher in LA.

Mr. Carnine is an accomplished and extremely caring educator who gives of himself for the benefit of his students. The news of this lawsuit was reported in third-rate media outlets that misrepresented Mr. Carnine by failing to provide even one comment from the countless students, families, and teachers who could attest to the quality of his character. A testament in support of Mr. Carnine’s excellence and professionalism would have been very easy to find, as this petition clearly demonstrates! Your voice is powerful. Go, Patriots!

Mr. Carnine is my daughter's favourite teacher and got her intrigued and interested in every subject he covered this year. We need to stand strong and support one of the best teachers at Paul Revere and not let him be subjected to this level of stress and unfair treatment.

mr. carnine is the kind of teacher they write movies about...he inspires kids, lights a fire in their bellies, shows that intellectual curiousity is fun. it is a crushing loss not to have him there.

Mr. Carnine was one of my daughters favorite teachers last year, because he goes beyond the books provided to help the kids learn. He used his own books that really brought history to life. My daughter said "Mr. Carnine would never say anything like that, he is a calm and caring teacher."
