Still to this day one of my favorite teachers from middle school. Even almost 15 years later he's the teacher I remember loving the most. I'm so sad to hear how all of this transpired.

My brother and I had Mr. Carnine in 6th grade and I have NEVER experienced or have seen racism from Mr. Carnine, and neither has my brother. Mr. Carnine has always been an amazing teacher with his discussions and projects. I personally loved him as a teacher and I wish that I had him this year as well. I am disgusted that this actually happened, and that the articles online are biased and not researched. There are so many witnesses that Mr. Carnine was giving examples of racism, and not, in fact, being racist. I also know that Mr. Carnine was quoting what many whites thought of Lincon in that time period, and not saying his own opinion. The other "alleged" sayings of Mr. Carnine have already been proved false by witnesses. Many of the facts that are being used in the lawsuit and in the article are wrong, and it saddens me that this is going through. I hope that the websites that made the articles and the people accusing Mr. Carnine realize that they are wrong, and I hope that the websites change or re-do their articles. Mr. Carnine has been helpful and kind to all kids of different backgrounds and cultures. In all, I hope that Mr. Carnine wins this case and that Paul Revere doesn't fire an amazing teacher. Mr. Carnine has given me respect and has listened to my opinion, and I intend to fight for him to win this lawsuit.
