Mr. Syman was probably one of, if not the most influntial person that shaped my adolescence. He inspired me to be determined and motivated to achieve amazing things on my instrument, but also gave me inspiration in other aspects of my life. I wish every aspiring musician could go through Mr. Syman and it would be a shame to see him leave Hudson.

The Hudson school district music and arts program is clearly not a priority to this district. Music is a potential career for many students and a skill with the potential to bring lifelong joy. Mr. S is an unbelievably skilled musician and teacher and his classes are college prep for students with the interest and capacity for post-high school education. I would much rather our tax support go toward retaining Mr. S than another administrator that does not impact the students nearly as much.

Mr. Syman is such a great teacher and overall person. He genuinely cares for the program and the students, the people, who are in it. It would be such a mistake to lose this incredible teacher.

His impact has positively effected many students, of whom have now gone on to study music in many different areas including Music Education. His ability to teach AP Music Theory makes a huge impact on someone who is planning to study music after high school. Please retain Mr. Syman he is extremely valuable to all the students, our community and the future of music.

As explained in the abstract of the petition, Mr Syman is a fantastic example of a teacher who cares about kids. As somebody who is in all of his jazz ensembles, and one of his symphonic ensembles, I have never learn so much in any other high school course. Haven’t graduated I still always look back and remember what he is taught and showed me, he has a huge impact on young students, especially and drives them to be passionate about what they eventually learn what They are good at.

Mr. Syman is a wonderful teacher and has been an inspiration to me and many others I know. Some of my fondest memories of Highschool were spent in his Music Theory class and Jazz ensembles mainly because of his drive and enthusiasm. He is an important person in our community and deserves much better than this.
