Mr. Syman is a gifted educator and wonderful music instructor. This would be an incredible loss for our students.

Shame on you, Hudson School Board, for moving to cut this position. Mr. Syman has shown nothing but dedication and loyalty to the students of this program. The program and its students have continued to thrive and develop under his joint leadership since he began. What a poorly thought out move for everyone involved.

My step daughters are both in band and truly do not want to see Mr. Syman get let go. Good teachers are hard to find.

This past fall, I sent Mr. Syman a note of gratitude for all the time and energy he gives our kids. He is an excellent teacher and his knowledge of jazz and music theory played a part in my daughter excelling in college. It would be a huge disservice to Mr. Syman, and to our students, to lose this amazing resource.

Mr Syman is an incredible musician and teacher. He has had a huge impact on our three musicians. It would be such a loss if he was no longer part of the music program at Hudson High School.

Nick Syman must be retained! If this is simply a matter of money, a cut in the athletics program is more appropriate, as music is an academic discipline and athletics is not. Please note: I am a Raiders sports fan.

Mr. Syman started during my freshman year of high school. His lessons in the classroom and out on the football field for marching band will stay with me for my entire life. Cutting him would be a disservice to the Hudson high school community.
