Keep Mr. Freedman as a teacher at LACHSA. It would be impossible to find a more engaged, empathetic, and dedicated teacher as Mr. Freedman. Allow him the right to keep his job until he decides it's time to retire.

Keep this brilliant teacher on the job. His legacy with that school is nothing short of inspiring and he deserves to stay until he decides it is his time to leave.

This man is like a father to so many of us. He is that one teacher that comes to all the student gatherings. His stories about life are timeless. He genuinely cares for all of us and we love him right back. We don't understand why LACHSA wants to keep letting him go. You will not find a more passionate and caring instructor ever! Please let him continuing changing the lives of young people until he decides to retire. Please!

I am so saddened that a man who gave so much of his heart and soul to his students for so many years is having to deal with this. Mr. Freedman was my favorite academic teacher at LACHSA. Almost thirty years later, I still recall how he always emanated warmth and kindness to everyone in the class, without exception! We all felt it and it these qualities can be seen by anyone who cares to witness the beautiful light shining from his eyes. We all love Mr. Freedman. He has so much to teach and so much to offer. He cannot be replaced! Please see to it that this special man continues to enrich the lives of future LACHSA students. You have an excellent teacher and a true mensch encapsulated into one person. What more do you want? Thank you!

I was very close to Mr. Freedman. He made history fun for me when it is usually a subject I don't enjoy. LACHSA would never be able to find a better history teacher. He would be greatly missed.

I feel so fortunate to have in my life Mr. Freedman's example of passion and devotion to LACHSA, the arts, and education - past, present, and future. He is among the pantheon of fine educators and great human beings.

To put it simply, LACHSA would not be LACHSA without Mr. Freedman. He was by far one of the best -- if not the best -- teachers I had in high school. His love for teaching and his dedication to his students was unparalleled. He always made the extra effort to keep his students engaged in their academics, while still being an adamant supporter of their artistic dreams. I cannot imagine LACHSA without him. To lose him would be a devastating blow to the school, as well as past, present, and future students.
