No comment necessary if you've ever met this man.

Mr. Freedman was easily the best teacher I had at LACHSA. His passion for teaching and his investment in his students was unparalleled. Not only did he care about us in an academic environment, he also wholeheartedly supported our artistic endeavors and bridged the gap between arts and academics. A LACHSA without Mr. Freedman just isn't LACHSA at all.

Outrageous that it would be considered to let a very esteemed teacher go.

One of my fondest teachers at LACHSA. His wisdom, kindness, and guidance has stuck with me throughout college and beyond. We all love him way too much to let this happen

I remember two teachers from all of high school, and one of them was Mr Freedman. It would be a great shame to keep him from being able to share his love of history, art, and music with students today.

Mr. Freedman is one of the jewels of LACHSA's academic program, and one of the kindest, most supportive men of his profession. (Class of '08)

This man has touched countless lives. He has always inspired students in the school - not just those in his classes. To this day, every single alum that I now speaks fondly of Mr. Freedman and not only how he influenced them at LACHSA, but how that influence continued to their lives today. It would be an absolute loss and a terrible mistake to let this man go. (class of '95)

One of the most caring and supportive teachers that ever walked those halls. He should leave when he decides it's right.

Me. Freedman was one of my best and most well-liked teachers while I was at LACHSA (class of '89)

I am an alumni class of 2008. This new principal has no idea how much alumni support he/she is going to loose. Mr.Freedman is the most valuable accedemic asset at that school. I suspect many of our more we'll know alumni will stop making donations to the school after this.

Letting Mr. Friedman go is like letting go Lachsa itself. Think before you act.

They do this to Freedman every few years. He's hired differently or something so he doesn't have tenure. Are they really letting him go or did they just give him a RIF slip? Not the same thing. He's survived each incident. It's ridiculous that a teacher who is so respected and experienced is repeatedly put through this.
