Mr. Freedman is a special teacher that any school would be lucky to have. Keep that lucky institution LACHSA and hold onto Jerry Freedman forever!

Mr. Freedman shared not only his insight and knowledge as a teacher but also shared his excitement for personal enrichment as a friend. These teachings are not exclusive to the academic topics only, but to life. As a graduate from the class of 2012, I state with the most inclusive confidence: Mr. Freedman is an inspiration to hundreds and many more to come.

We need to find out who is responsible for this decision.

Mr. Freedman was the best teacher at LACHSA when I attended! His students always looked forward to his class and not necessarily for the subject he taught but for him! He truly had a way of connecting with us! Let him retire when he chooses. He deserves that grace for he has impacted countless numbers of students!

Mr Freedman is awesome! 20 years later he's one of the teachers I have never forgotten! Loved his classes, always supportive of the students and makes education interesting and enjoyable. It would be a major loss to the students of Lachsa to lose him. We love you Mr Freedman!

Jerry Freedman embodies the essence of LACHSA. He is passionate about what he does and his commitment has continued to inspire his students, past and present, for 29 years. The decision about when he leaves his position should be his alone to make.

I worked for LACHSA in the English department for almost two years, and in that time I had the pleasure to meet and work with Mr. Freedman. Mr. Freedman is, without a doubt, one of the most respected academic teachers at LACHSA and with good reason. In the time I worked at LACHSA, I always knew I could count on Jerry to cover my class if I needed him to, or to speak out at staff meetings when the need arose. He is always present, always helpful, and always kind. I have never heard him speak a harsh word to a student or parent, and he has infinite patience. I hope that LACHSA will see the error of its ways and save Jerry Freedman. He's been there since the beginning, and needs to stay.

any denial of this man's ability to completely transform young artists into deep thinkers and humanitarian helpers of the world we live in, is sacrelig to me!! Mr. Freedman is one of the teachers that every student hes ever had remembers well, for good reason! Any time he sees fit to use teaching is a privileged time to those students. This world is so full of terrible teachers and useless professionals that no one feels a thing for, how dare they try to take that away from students is WRONG!! Fight to keep him!!! This is so sad. It makes me very angry. I will defend this mans importance at all costs!

I've heard how important this man is to students. Now it's damn well time for the school to hear it too.

As a LACHSA grad, even though Mr. Freedman is an academic teacher, his appreciation for the arts encouraged students to keep doing what they're doing and go after what they want to do.
