Mr. Allen was a rare example at ORHS of a teacher who really enjoyed connecting with students at a personal level. While many teachers were just authoritarian figures, Mr. Allen could be a friend to anyone

Mr. Allen is an amazing person. I am so shocked that this is even possible after what happened a couple of years ago. It's proven how much Mr.Allen means to so many people! He has been such a part of my family. He is just a caring person and if Oyster River lost him then we will be missing a huge part of Oyster River.

I admire Mr. Allen because he does the right thing for the right reason. As a member of the Oyster River community for many years, his service to our students will resonate for many lifetimes. The fact that he wishes to continue being a valued professional at ORCSD speaks well of him. Thanks to everyone who is working to support Mr. Allen and his continued cheerful service to our school district.

Mr.Allen was one of the few teachers to reach out to me when I was having a hard time in middle school. It would be a shame for other students to not have such a great role model.

Mr. Allen is an awesome principal. I've been to a lot of different school and most principals are power thirsty, wanting to take over the school and tell there students exactly what to do and when to do it. Mr. Allen though, he sits down with his students, gets to know them and tries to resolve the issue. He makes sure his students feel equal, safe, and comfortable. It's not easy to find a staff member capable of doing that. He's always so happy and his positive attitude is spread throughout the school. He's the perfect fit for Oyster River, Intelligent, fun, and open minded.

he was my moms social studies teacher in 7 grade and even back then my mom said he was an amazing teacher and cared about the students he had.

I switched schools because OR sucks d*ck. Not because of Mr. Allen. He couldn't have kept me there. The school is awful because the teachers are awful, not because of Mr. Allen.

Andy is a compassionate and caring teacher and coach surely OR can find a new position for him to fill! It would be OR's loss to not have such a compassionate teacher on staff.
