Mt. Sky is probably the safest place in north eastern pa. I've only been able to make it to two events, and have met some of the nicest people i have ever encounterd.

The time is now to rally together and help Scott Township understand that Mountain Sky is a positive place full of positive people with a mission to celebrate music and art in a positive natural environment. It's cultural balance. It's family oriented. It's an asset to Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's a place where all the kids can dance and shake their bones. Politicians, please stop throwing stones!!!

We need more good local venues in our region of Pennsylvania, not less! No matter what legal snafus exist, a precedent was set when it opened and it remained open until now. It is my understanding that Mountain Sky has complied with all requests made by the local government. This venue is strongly supported by its audience and those who perform there. What is wrong with our local legislators that they condone such a thing? It is no wonder that NE PA remains poor. Any attempts at bringing in revenue through great businesses like this is squelched by the local good old boys. Give Mountain Sky a chance to correct whatever the problem is rather than shutting it down. What sense does that make?

Mountain Sky is a wonderful community full of people who care about our local talent. They only want to provide a safe place for talents to play and for fans to enjoy. Some of my best experiences over the last few years have taken place at this venue and I urge anyone who has been there to argue that. I sincerely wish that the township can see past whatever issues they may have and allow Mountain Sky to be.
