I am from Brazil and visited Moratta palace twice. It is a fantastic and amazing experience in Karachi. I will never forget. It is a beautiful Museum and must continue opened for the public forever.

Pakistan seems to thrive on monuments built yesterday, some to commemorate persons who are still alive. Even when assessing our more important historical markers, our heritage seems to stop abruptly pre 1947. Yes, Pakistan is worthy of celebration, but the land and our heritage goes back a lot longer and a lot richer than anything in the modern era. Mohatta Palace is a national treasure that represents our understanding of our full history, which, whilst we're at it, extends back to Mohenjo-daro and Harappa! Save Mohatta Palace - so that it doesn't fall from public use or affection, because when it does it will disappear entirely as have done countless national treasures because their stewardship was shortsighted or nonexistant. Support this cause. !!!
