We need to leave this land alone. Enough development has occurred, and severe pressure on watershed systems could be disastrous by the mid century mark. Los Angeles is clearly #1 in the nation regarding stressed water systems. That's not an opinion ... it's a researched fact.

The intent and wording of our Hillside Ordinance is clear and needs to be followed. New construction down into Millard Canyon should not be allowed under any circumstances.

A careful look at the actual site with all the facts at hand, not just the owner's website, will quickly confirm what everyone in this canyon has been saying. This building project would be a nightmare for the neighbors, the environment, the road, and the spirit of this unique neighborhood.

I grew up in the Altadena/Pasadena area. As a child I spent much of my time outdoors. I can't imagine our communities being ok with the disregard this project has for native flora and fauna.

Let nature be. Leave nature alone and keep it as God intended it to be. When La Vina development was built, it destroyed the natural mountainside and ruined hiking and horse trails. I have had enough of developers building on our mountainsides and canyons. This is just wrong! I urge you to stop any more development like La Vina or any other developments from happening in Altadena. We don't need this. This would destroy the natural habitat that calls this area home and ruin our precious mountains and canyons.

Development in one of the last remaining open spaces in the lower Millard Canyon--a critical watershed and habitat to numerous species already under tremendous stress from climate change and human encroachment--is simply unacceptable. I urge the Altadena town council to prioritize the long-term well-being of the people of Altadena--as well as the wildlife and iconic natural spaces that have made Altadena such an inviting and beautiful place to be--over the personal desires of a couple of individuals. While it is wonderful that these individuals appreciate the beauty of the area--this is made clear on their public relations site--this does not give them or anyone else the right to damage or destroy it. If someone truly appreciated the canyon, he or she would enjoy the natural beauty of the area as it is, which would allow others to do the same. There are plenty of other existing homes with beautiful views of nature; surely these individuals are able to find one.

I am not sure what you have hide unlike the builder who's website is full of multiple nonfactual statements and purposely misleading imagery.
