The city of Fountain valley and its citizens and golfers need and want this golf course to remain intact. Please consider allowing the entire two courses to remain as one.

There is already lots of room at Mile Square Park for pick nicks, exercise and other sports activities. Plus, we live in an area where it's only a short drive to the beach or mountains for unlimited outdoors activities. But great golf at an affordable price is rare, and we are very blessed to have some of the finest public courses right here in Fountain Valley. Please do not take these irreplaceable courses away from us and future generations.

I have played Mile Square Golf since the 70's. Since they added the Player's course it has given golfers like me not only a different look and challenge but a better opportunity to get more flexible times to book a round of golf. Good public courses in Orange County are limited and to close one would be a shame. Friends of mine from other states who have played with me on the Player's course have commented on how lucky we were to have a course in this area to be in such great shape and at such an affordable price. It would really be a shame to eliminate such a good recreational golf course from our area.

There's plenty of open land in the vicinity to open up new areas of recreation. Tearing down a revenue generating golf course is not a well thought-out idea.

Great course. We need it to assure sufficient golfing venues in OC. Courses are already crowded. Eliminating this course will increase this problem.

A careful analysis will surely show that the Players Course is a valuable community asset.

Please reconsider your plans to close one golf course at Mile Square Park. There should also be an opportunity for public comment regarding this matter. Thank you.

Does anyone know how the up coming candidates stand on the closing of Player course. Election is March 12. This could be one way to influence the Board

I do not support elimination of the Players Course. We need more golf courses, not less.

Getting rid of this golf course while having no replacement idea is poor business. Get creative to increase golfers and save this course, hire a management company that can do the job!

It is foolish to eliminate a recreational facility that not only provides the opportunity for people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and capabilities, but ALSO operates at a net profit. WAKE UP! DON'T BE STUPID!! Find some other "program" to make a political "splash" with.

Keep both courses “players & classic” open. Very important to golfers in the area.

I now live in Arizona but have played at the golf course many times. There should be more reasonable courses not less.
