We need Mile Square's two golf courses much more than what is purposed, plus the golf courses will bring in revenue.

If you must reclaim some land for public use from the existing Players Course, please consider revamping and keeping 9 of the 18 golf holes. Then, Mile Square Classic can still accommodate a large number of golfers with 27 holes available. Cultural space, Gardens and Nature and abundant in Souther California. The Mile Square Park plan is truly not needed for this area. We are five miles from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Western US. Please think the plan through, before eliminating all of the Player's Golf Course for minor attractions. Thank you for your consideration.

Both courses are busy each day. The golfers support the restaurants. These courses are the most beautiful public courses in the county.

We really do love to play at those two courses. As you already know that two courses are always packed . Difficult to make tee time as it is , where you want us go to play.

There are enough parks in OC. Keep Mile Square Players Course. Golf is a sport that can be enjoyed even as one ages. The senior population is growing and golf allows them to socialize, get exercise, enjoy the outdoors. I am one of those seniors who started playing before retiring. What a blessing it has been for me. I wish I had started this sport earlier in life! I’ve met wonderful ladies & men while playing and have joined the ladies golf club. Please don’t take away this lovely course from us.

Please don’t close the course. They’re aren’t enough affordable golf courses in Orange County to play. They closed Empire Lakes and they’re trying to close another one in Irvine. Soon we won’t be able to play anywhere unless you are a member of a country club. I don’t see how closing public courses is helping “grow the game.”

Please continue to operate all three courses at Mile Square Park they are needed for those of us who are retired and play frequently.

Our sport is growing. Please don't reduce the # of courses available to the public, while also increasing the cost to Orange County for development and management. This would likely increase costs to the Orange County taxpayers. Please keep our two Mile Square golf courses.
