There is no need to move the fire station from its current position. If it's not broken don't fix it.

The position of Fire Station is fine as it is, with proper facilities already. Quick direct access to the main roads, and quick for the firemen to reach.

Im posted to the Local Military base and travel through Queensway everyday to get to work. Even at non-peake times, the traffic parked along both sides of the road render the street a one lane route and hold ups occur. At rush hour the traffic is struggles to get through the narrow road - add to this firemen trying to reach the fire station and then drive the engine back down this road - it will be pandemonium.

Total madness to mix all these services in one place! Can you imagine school leaving time with buses verses fire engines, police, children all trying to exit down Queensway.

Leave the fire station where it is

For a huge number of reasons already well cited, the station should not move - it must remain where it is for the safety of so many people.

I worry for the children, people, around these emergency services. I live near the current school and parking my idiots is unavoidable. Fire engines will not be able to weave in and out, losing precious time when someone is waiting! Why doesn't people listen to the actual people doing the job instead of those away from the emergency.

For response times alone to the A11 it needs to remain where it is.

Crazy to move the fire station out of the town centre

People should stop making decisions while they sit in their offices miles away from Mildenhall. Listen to the people who live in the Mildenhall area. Keep the Fire Station where it is.

Delayed response times would occur if moved!!! No excuse for even suggesting that this is a good idea!!!

This move would result in delayed response times for the crew getting to the Station and out to where they are needed.

A ridiculous location for a fire station ! If the fire fighters are not in favour then it can't be right !
