The proposed new site would cause major delays for the fire service responding to any calls as the road is too narrow for the traffic now and if the new hub and housing go ahead thete will be constant delays.

Along with the school issue as so many have mentioned, the junction with Queensway and the roundabout gets congested enough, what happens when the fire engine needs to get through?! Leave the fire station where it is as there is much easier access to wherever it needs to go. Listen to those who work there, they know what's best!!!

This will be dangerous at the proposed location as it will be near a school with fire fighters coming in for shouts .Also access for fire engine along queens way would be poor. A good location would be where council offices are at present or on industrial estate for all emergency services..this would be away from school and health centre /doctors this really needs some careful consideration

This makes no sense at all! Put the community & surrounding served areas first for a change - do the right thing!

The new location does not serve the best interests of the fire service and seems to be driven by cost saving. It certainly is not central or offer quick service to the public. I'm guessing this is the fire services main aim

The planners and people behind the hub should be listening to the local community, not imposing there idea of what Mildenhall needs on the community.

Why does it need to be moved? Listen to the local Firemen they surely know the best place for the station.

I would like to see the councillors listen to the fire fighters, to pay attention to the valid concerns expressed. The firefighters have our support in this.
