Street parking would be the downfall of the fire station if it were relocated. Response times would be dramatically slowed down. Current location is central & in a good position for on call firefighters to respond.

The traffic around schools at the start and of day will create chaos if an alarm for the fire engine is needed. The road is not very wide on the outskirt of Mildenhall leading to West Row.

being out of town will make it harder for them to get to those who need it in town, what happens when the buses have arrived at the school and a shout goes off, total chaos

This move is nonsensical and must be overturned even if a few people lose face over it.

When you can't get a credible answer it really makes you wonder who is representing the wishes of the majority and who the ringmaster is. Come clean or resign, the choice is there.

I still have family who live up near Sheldrick Way and don't think it is practicable as per previous comments re: traffic flow/access, As a nurse myself, we are already experiencing huge issues with cuts to emergency service resources and the knock on effect of this. Not happy.

The men and women who serve our community so bravely say it's a bad move to go to the hub. I hope the powers to be will listen to their experience and keep the Fire Station logistically central. I.E. where it is!!!!

Moving the fire station would be a stupid and life threatening decision for those who need immediate response

The proposed move would put lives at risk. Why can't the powers that be see this?

I think the hub is the wrong place for the Fire Station. It should either stay where it is or be moved to the Academy when that moves to the hub. The Academy site provides better access for the surrounding villages. If it is put in the Hub, what will happen if there is a call out when all the coaches are there ready to take the children home. If it's moved to the Hub and lives are lost I would not want to be in any of the councillors shoes
