It's virtually in the centre of town, easy access to all of the area, why move it!!!!

The fire station is vital to remain central in Mildenhall .The volume of traffic from Sheldrick Way will cause crucial delays . The councillors do not listen to the people of the town say serve .They make decisions on money and how it can benefit themselves, not what benefits the community. they have already made the decision . APPALLING !!!!!!!

As per information found on https://planning.westsuffolk.gov.uk/online-applications/: According to the masterplan DC_17_1106_FUL-MASTERPLAN-1261625.pdf, the new location of the fire station (14) indicates that the only way in and out is past carparks and through Sheldrick way, which looks impractical, in particular during rush hours. Furthermore the submitted reports DC_17_1106_FUL-DESIGN_AND_ACCESS_REPORT_PART_1-1262228.pdf & DC_17_1106_FUL-DESIGN_AND_ACCESS_REPORT_PART_2-1262231.pdf seem to include no accessment on what space and facilities the new fire station would need, and most importantly, no assessment of what emergency response time would be. Note: It is also not obvious to me, why relocation of the fire station would result in any cost savings, the space equipment, facilities and personal required wouldn't be any less that what they are now.

Keep Mildenhall fire station on North Terrace. Queens way is too congested for speeding fire trucks slowing down response times. As we have just seen with the tower fire in London if only authorities listened to the public and the crews who know what they are talking about tragedies may be avoided. Don't let Mildenhall restructure be a failure listen to the professionals.

Leave our fire station where it is - allowing all the emergency services to come out onto Queensway is a serious accident waiting to happen. This hub and move of the services of Mildenhall is a cost cutting exercise and NOT in the best interests of the town and surrounding villages.

The emergency services don't get enough recognition and thanks as it is, but they want to make their job harder? Why would they even consider moving them, show some respect for what they do.

How can an emergency vehicle respond in it's best time if it is called out from the hub when schools are starting or finishing their day & pupils, parents & coaches are everywhere?

Listen to the active fire fighters. Cost saving is a false economy.

The fire station is in the safest place. If moved with the current road conditions life's could be put in danger.

If the fire station needs to move, it needs to be closer to the A11 to attend rtc's, it is not a safe location at the hub, as Queensway is unable to cope with the inevitable traffic increase, also it doesn't make sense to place the fire station near to a school and a proposed area creating a high foot fall - please re-think !

Proposed site totally unsuitable for the fire station to go to. Leave it where it is.
