Please consider the income potential for the county to be able to create state of the art baseball facilities starting with this field to an area than generates nationally ranked and pursued baseball players. Thank you!

Any move to take fields away from kids and give them to adults is not OK. Years ago I used Michie Gordan for entire year with my sons baseball field. Having known the PRCS manager of that park for some time, she complained about the fist fights and brawls that occurred at the park during cricket matches. She claimed it was basically a weekly occurrence and there wasn’t anything she could do to control it.

I was on the Chatman of the Board of Supervisors when this Park was named for Mickie. I never meet a man that love the game of baseball and kids in Loudoun than Mickie. This field should remain for baseball as it was intended when we named it in his memory!

Build a cricket field somewhere that there isn’t already a playing field. Don’t take away, but add.

Mickey Gordon Park should be for the youth of the local community. Especially as a place to play baseball, since that is why it was founded in the first place. Clearly the fact that Loudoun county wants to make a huge cricket facility out here is due to poor planning and, providing or requiring adequate facilities in the areas that have been highly developed. Don’t let them make another mistake by putting it in a rurally zoned area. Even now I’ve heard local kids are being intimidated by people coming from outside of the area to use the facilities. That will only get worse, and the local community will lose out in many aspects. It would be a huge detriment to the area.

Baseball is America’s pastime, pickle ball is not on the map.

I strongly oppose the plan to replace Mickie Gordon field with cricket fields. As someone who recognizes the importance of cricket in our community, I cannot endorse the replacement of a baseball field when baseball fields are in much higher need/demand. There are other ways/locations to support Cricket…baseball is here and needs support now.

Baseball is at an all time high in Loudoun County. Keep the baseball field as it is

The traffic is already bad enough getting thru town. The light pollution and noise will add additional disturbances for families and wild life. I strongly oppose the modifications.

Save Mickey Gordon Park for baseball. Build cricket fields elsewhere.

We should turn this property into turf baseball fields similar to Patriot Park North in Fairfax county.

This application needs to be denied immediately. It goes against everything that we are fighting to preserve about Western Loudoun county’s open spaces

Cricket fields? It's baseball that's needed, not cricket.
