This proposal reminds me when the county wanted to put a huge fire station in Aldie. Absolutely the wrong thing to do. Put the new fields where appropriate and keep in mind that it could lead to turn lanes on Rt. 50 which would go against all the traffic calming work in the past.

Oppose Changing character of Mickie Gordon Park What is the status of this acreage? Has infrastructure , easy acesss , close to population that follows cricket “The Board of Supervisors, to meet the need for this 200-acre project and other governmental facilities, acquired a 460-acre parcel near the Leesburg Airport in FY 01. The Shellhorn parcel is currently in the Master Plan stage to determine the best location for the park amenities and other possible uses.” Has it been fully built out?

The lights traffic and activity levels will be disruptive to the area The heritage of the park is unique. I would expect a facility can be found or made east of Route 15 to preserve the special rural nature of this area.

My Word!!! The Park park and adjacent Ground both Deep Significance to the African American Community. For the park which hosted games played by the Negro League! WHY on This Earth , Would it be Converted converting it Into Complex for "CRicket" of All Things? What a SLAP in the Face that would be to Those that care about African American History !! PLease do NOT let this happen! anl strongly advocate against the approval of Doing anything except Saving The Park as the Legacy it was intended to Be! Thank You !

This proposal will ruin the aesthetic of the area that so many have worked to save. This is too much traffic and too many lights.

Please do not destroy any more green space! We need to preserve nature and limit the over commercialization. Loudoun county is being one big cement block of data centers, and an over development of luxury homes. The promise of nature that drew many of here has become something of the past.

This is atrocious in area with historical value and is inconsistent with the rural plan.

Keep our history and natural resources. Plenty of paved land toward the suburbs for Cricket or whatever.

Parking for 250 vehicles combined with 100 ft light towers would be a disaster for the community, wildlife and the need for protected open space.

The proposed improvements do not reflect the needs of Middleburg. The requested 238 paved parking spaces are more than what are in the Middleburg town limits. We need to save the character of the Middleburg community which is why we are here.
