If people don’t have cultural artifacts to inspire them, they will have no appreciation for culture

I went to this camp, it taught me about creative process and real animation. This was the first place I felt normal, I made friends and met people who liked the same things as me. Art is a commodity not necessarily always a luxury and by killing this program it would cut so many young artists off from amazing resources

The Missouri Fine Arts impacted my life greatly. I was finally around people who understand my desire to draw and create. The environment allows students who feel like outcasts finally feel like the belong.

MFAA is the most life-changing educational experience a young person in Missouri can have. Young people gain confidence, empathy, problem solving skills, and lifelong friendships. It is one of the things that makes our community and our world, simply, better.

Math and science and medicine are necessary for life but the fine arts are the reason we live. The song of life goes on and through music, writing, and dance you are able to contribute a verse.
