Please get this right and put a green zone on that roof. If we get the iconic design right we could set the tone for the future buildings raising the bar for our wonderful city. If we allow this plan to be scaled back for cost and greater profit by the developer because of a little more glass and shadow, I think we are missing an big opportunity: http://youtu.be/Yf7QFC5NpFA

Minister Wynne is pandering to the swinging Green voters of his Yarra seat. Its casting a shadow on a road, rail overpass and inactive river. The Hoddle Grid was designed to be the CBD where large buildings accommodate business commerce activities. Robert Hoddle would be turning in his grave if he knew about this senseless planning decision.

An exciting project should not be stopped for a very minor overshadowing of the the river bank in the middle of Winter. A nonsense decision indeed by the Minister for Planning. He has been poorly advised by the inept officers in his Department.

The new Victorian planning regulation for the CBD is regressive and illogical. It is anti-development and lack intelligence.

This project should go ahead, it is aesthetically appealing and incporates a park and unique sky bridge.

Unlike the future slums being built on A'Beckett St, this building represents 'Melbourne for All People"

A very suitable project for this particular sight. One person alone should not be able to make a decision that is detrimental to Melb economy. A very poor decision with unreasonable justification for it.

This is a splendid design and to reject it for so fatuous a reason is to insult Melbourne.

It would create such a magnificent visit from Southbank. This is the type of architecture we should be encouraging.
