I think the sportsmen who use Lake Medina are every bit as important as the farmers who use the water. In fact, lets talk about tax bases and see who should have more rights. The people who live on this lake should count.

I live in Bandera right off Medina Lake. My wife and I purchased the property in July 2016. When we purchased the property we thought the lakefront home was wonderful and had no idea the lake's water level would drop almost 15' (feet) within a year. Our boat dock is now on land and the property continues to drop in value as water continues to be released despite the heavy rains in recent months. It is said to know so much water is wasted/released simply because the regulations are not in place. I support farmers, however don't believe it is the farmers who are profiting from the lake but instead SAWS.

You all need to leave the lake alone. That water is so beautiful and the commuity has seen so much action on the lake it is so nice to see families enjoying it agian. Plus the commuity lives off the water

I grew up hunting and fishing on Medina River just south of the dam. Every year my friends and family would base all our planned recreational trips on the water level of the river and the amount being released from the Medina lake dam at the time.

I live near the lake. Save the lake and force the new water sucking quarries out. They don't need my water but I sure do.
