It is always a pleasure to visit the McConaghy's shop. The National Trust shouldn't be allowed to take over the whole Giant's Causeway site at the expense of a local family

Our family helped with photographs of our mother's shop for the new visitors centre as the Trust were celebrating the local people of the Causeway. I didn't think a short time later they would put the McConaghy family out of business. They have now got rid of all the local families.

The McConaghy's shop adds to the visitor experience. The Giant's Causeway shouldn't be all about the National Trust. They should show respect for a family who have been there a lifetime.

This is a disgrace, yet another I'll move from the National Trust. This is just one of many stories being heard about the hierarchy who are supposedly in charge at the Giant's Causeway.

Very bad pre-planning by National Trust 6 or 7 years ago when the new Visitors' Centre was envisaged..... inadequate coach-
parking facilities on site and lamentable toilet provision were obvious at the outset. Bullying McConaghy's and other honorable businesses is all contributing to NT's deteriorating reputation on the North Coast.

National Trust are no longer trusted by anyone. A time for this organisation to be shut down, and taken over by honest people.

The rights of the McConaghy family to continue their long standing small business at the Giant's Causeway should take precedence over any perceived rights of the National Trust to evict them. As a member of the National Trust I strongly urge the Trust and the local Planning Committee to reverse the decision to close McConaghy's business. To do otherwise will only bring shame on the National Trust. People are more important than buildings or profit.

council is losing out on millions in revenue for the locals benefit.
