I will never support the National Trust again. This decision is a disgrace, born of greed, and is a shocking example of 'the little man' being trampled, bullied in fact, by those who care more about their bottom line than the genuine history of the Causeway and the livelihood of the locals themselves. Disgusting.

The running of the Causeway centre has put me off the National Trust altogether. It’s a profit machine.

I think the National Trust should be made answerable for their conduct regarding their running of The Causeway.

Didn't want an economy boosting Golf Club now they want small businesses squeezed out. 'N'o 'T'ime for locals.

We need to support local small businesses. They have now left the causeway so expensive locals can’t even go for a walk with the dog. Used to love going for a walk and a cup of coffee. Can’t do that now as it is too expensive.

NT should not be allowed to do this. Disgraceful

This cannot go ahead, the NT have started to lose the run of themselves since getting control of parking on the site and beginning gross overcharging.

Indeed, has it been a delight to shop at this particular store, and it would be a woe indeed if it is to go. If, indeed, we are to conserve this area, then consideration must be given, as well, to the locals surrounding the area, and their way of life.

Shameless desire for financial control and to remove long established local business. Plainly wrong.

Build toilets elsewhere and leave these local people alone. National Trust are just bully boys
