The National Trust have changed - they're no longer protecting our heritage, they're just another big business, interested only in money.

Never met a nicer man! His shop and the history of it should be kept at the causeway!

Leave the business alone. It's been there so long it's nearly as well loved as the causeway itself

It's a disgrace what there are doing . I have been calling into the shop with friends visiting from other country's for 30 years . Tommy even went to school at the causeway school with my dad .

Worked here for a few years and the mcconaghys are the nicest people you will ever meet! As usual the national trusts greed is trying to push them out of their family buisness!

Please reconsider your actions National Trust. This is self defeating for a (once) great organisation and you need to listen to public opinion - the very people who support you through NT membership.

The McConaghey's have been there long before the National trust came along. It's gives.visitors another option to buy teas, souvenirs etc rather than pay the extortionate charges the NT want to charge

The NT should most definitely not be allowed to force the closure of such a long standing business. It is purely greed on the part of the NT.
