This doesn't stop criminals from misuse, only legitimate sport/hobbyists from doing what they love. Actual Airsofters are very careful about what they have and know the ins and outs of safe transport, operation, and guidelines.

This law is rediculous. In what way will banning replicas help cut down on gun violence? Why shutdown businesses, and kill an entire sport in the whole state? To make sure a cop here never shoots someone with an airsoft gun? I believe in freedom, not covering the asses of our respectable boys in blue. Have a small amount of faith in your training MD, because all this tells me is, you trust those guys with guns on the street every day but you don't trust they have the brains or function to destinguish a toy from a firearm.

I enjoy the sport/hobby. I have made a lot of friends during my time playing airsoft and it is something that my friends enjoy doing. Not only airsoft teaches you to be honest and fair you develope special bonds with people you meet. Also it would effect a lot of people emotionally and financially by putting people out of buisness.

This law is so useless. Let's push gun education, not push banning guns-fake or real.

Airsoft is a sport founded upon the ideals of teamwork, resourcefulness, skill, and honor. Banning it is not the correct course of action, as this only detracts from society and wastes the money of the taxpayer. The people who are trying to destroy this sport are people who are more concerned with taking action than actually thinking about whether the action is correct.

You shouldnt penalize the people (like me) who play airsoft responsibly in actual arenas and treat them like firearms not to mention you would be putting business out of businesses

Maybe instead of taking the easy way out and banning the guns, do something to educate kids and law enforcement on airsoft. Teach kids to respect both real and fake firearms, and show LE that this is an actual hobby, not a bunch of losers looking for trouble.
