I just moved to md not to long ago and was looking for a new hobby. Airsoft is so fun looking and I was surprised there were not many fields in md. please don't take away airsoft Im thinking about getting into airsoft and am making my first loadout, it would be a shame to spend 200+ dollars on my first loadout and not be able to use it. Think off all of the small businesses and online communities this bill would destroy!.

Airsoft and paintball are amazing hobbies/sports promoting an active lifestyle along with giving people a great social outlet for people involved. As well as being a great team building exercise for people of all ages. Players ages vary from 12 to even having players well in their 60's all enjoying these amazing sports/hobbies in a completely safe and responsible way. Please do not let this bill pass.

As a dealer in Airsoft, paintball, bb and pellet guns, this would be a huge mistake for our economy and the sport. Airsoft and Paintball along with air rifles is a multi-billion dollar industry which creates tax revenue for Maryland and Jobs across the state and country. Airsoft and Paintball aren't just hobbies they are legitimate sports crossing all ages from 6-65 and all genders. Laws are already in place if someone uses an imitation gun to commit a crime. Realism is also a big part of the sport.
The people involved are safety conscience when it comes to handling and transporting all Airsoft , Paintball and Air guns.
Please don't pass this Bill out of committee!!

It's time for a change in law. The laws shouldn't hurt the many to stop the few. Honest people will have their hobby stripped from their hands. And for what to stop the chance someone pretends they have a real fire arm. These guns are already illegal to use in in a crime. I for one would prefer the robber pretend with a plastic gun than have no option but to get a real gun and point it at me. Once again. Stop trying to harm the many for the possibility of a few being evil.

This is an awesome sport. I don't play airsoft I play paintball but I still respect the sport and I think that people should just learn to be more responsible with airsoft weapons. There is no reason to suit airsoft.

There are far better methods to regulate airsoft than a ban. This is an unnecessary draconian measure.
