My youngest daughter went there and it developed her so much and gave her the confidence for mainstream school. Even now a couple of years later we know the childcare minders. It will be such a waste of talent if this was to go.

Have to say this outrageous behaviour from a Head teacher and a board of governors some of whom will have been elected by parents who trust these people to have the best intentions of their children in mind, They have a duty of care to the children, parents and the community. If they have a plan the communication is beyond poor and embarrassing that they have allowed this situation to happen

Very disappointed about the way this closure was handled. No empathy or regard for the staff, leaving them in an impossible position when faced with questions by parents. I am gutted for them. The loss of so many fantastic, dedicated and professional individuals will be a huge loss to the school. Yet another ruthless decision taken by the Governing Body.

MCC is not a facility I have ever needed to use but many friends have and all speak very highly of the whole team. I think the way the situation has been handled is disgusting.

I am discusted with the school...ever since the new head teacher started there has been so many changes...and they have not been the best! But all this putting the rent up to force marple childcare out is a discrace!!! The staff there are absolutly fantastic and should be allowed to carry on as they are....the school has been fine for this long without needing that room...so why now?? Not happy!! I feel sorry for the parents who rely on marple childcares services for their little ones, who stay a bit later than normal school hours....i know there will be wrap around care for school children but preschoolers now have to go to a different nursery setting unfamiliar to them! Not fair! Rose hill should be discusted in themselves...because as parents, we are!!

You knock down primary schools, close secondary schools, close pre school and what? Build family homes on the land and you wonder why there is no places for children to go to school !!!

I feel the loss of the high achieving nursery and childcare will be of detriment to the school.

I whole heartedly agree... Why this decision has been made I have no idea, it wiil have absolutely no benefit to anyone, Rosehill Primary School have, in my opinion, undoubtedly shot themselves in the foot.

I would be very sad to see this outstanding facility disappear. Having used a range of childcare over the years I can truly say this is a very good one which should be cherished and helped to flourish.
