Let Maria stay she was always there for me and my sister am now 32 years and thanks to Maria I was able to go to high school and college she helped me so much academically and emotionally.

Maria is good, hardworking &diligent person. She's like a mother to all the kids in the school. Very helpful to everyone that has something to do in the school( parents, teachers or co- workers). I don't know how the circle of the team in the school will complete without Maria. Please save Maria's job & keep ps 111 lively.

Maria Is A Staple Of PS 111. She Is Not Or Should Ever Be A Budget Cut Lay-off This Is Our Community We Decide Who Stays And Who Goes. Maria Has Dedicated Her Life To The Children Of This Community For Over 2 Decades Let That Sink In. Maria Should Be Praised And Given A Raise Not Be Treated Like A Number You Can Just Delete. PS 111 Should Go Back And Reconsider If It’s Really Worth Upsetting The Community And It’s Residents, We Want Maria The Second Mother To Every Student That Has Walked Through Your Doors The Last 2 Decades.

Maria is a staple leader to the Hells Kitchen community and to the 111 school. I’ve seen her help out around the neighborhood and in the school. She is most caring for children! To state that she wouldn’t be working with 111 anymore is outrageous and unbelievable. This petition isn’t just made up for her. This petition is made to help 111 keep a trustworthy and helpful individual who will only continue to help the children and school make great strides.

Teachers that have made an impact on young lives for so many years should not just be let go because of “budget” reasons.
Good teachers are rare and should be cherished! I don’t know your mom, but it’s obvious she’s made an impact from the amount of people who have signed this petition.

Maria has always been a great caregiver to students of all ages in P.S 111. Maria was and is still very attentive of us In and out of school hours. She is a an essential part of P.S 111 culture and of Hell’s Kitchen. Regardless of how old we get we love you Maria! Thank you for always having our backs!

Maria is an exceptional staff and coworker. It would be a shame if PS 111 lost her. She is one of the most honest, funniest, and hard working individual I have ever met.

She has devoted all her time to parents and the school to make sure the kids have motivation to learn. She represents every parent who has and has had their child attend P.S.111 Without her the improvement of parents and teachers would not be successful. Especially in the spanish community. She has listen to the worries of parents in the community and has mentioned them to the board of the school. She is the voice of us. Keep this wonderful person who want to keep on giving to the school she has lived for, to the kids she saw graduateing, to the next generation, to those she saw walk out and come back in with their children ready to sign them up to this school.

As a former employee of 111 I can say that Maria welcomed me with open arms. She always had a smile and kind words to say to me whenever I was upset. She also has a way with faculty, families, and students that can't be rivaled. Maria always has kind words for everyone she encounters. It's my hope that someone reads this petition and realizes how important Maria is to 111's community.

Such a damn shame, Maria is an amazing human being that I have known for over 10 years while attending P.S. 111. She was a mother away from home to us who needed somebody to get on us who needed to get back into our classes instead of playin in the halls. Please reconsider this option and give these kids somebody who actually cares about not only thier education but also give out direction.
