Very disappointing from Fingal County Council (but no surprises). As usual looking for short term financial gain.

This appears to be a completely inappropriate use of land in the castle demense.

I've been visiting it since I was a kid in the 80s. Its great for a child to see real nature in Dublin. Why pander to tourists for mone?, that's how you get Leprechauns and rubbish

I live in Malahide and object to this Adventure development. Both myself and my two children use the area regularly and I feel that this deveolpment will create added traffic and reduce the tranquillity of the area.

I oppose the proposed developement of Malahide Castle Woodlands as a Forest Adventure area and bridge field as a car and coach park.

I oppose the creation of this commercial enterprise in the park and the extension of parking ostensibly for commercial profits. If additional parking is needed it would be less impactful down at the main gates surely.

Please don't take a beautiful amenity away from the community - it's a touchstone for wellbeing for thousands of visitors.

These woods are an ecological and environmental treasure. Please don't interfere with it, it can't be replaced.

Trees produce oxygen, to which I believe most humans are quite partial. They take a long time to grow - much longer than it takes to lay or dig up some tarmac. Lets keep our trees lest our kids think we're idiots. Malahide Castle Demense is great for adults and kids - no meddling please.

I'm outraged the government is even considering destroying another heritage site. I grew up playing in Malahide castle and want to see the woods preserved for future generations.

I live in Malahide and love going to the park. It was one of the reasons i choose to move to Malahide and will absolutely hate it if the woods area would be converted to cark parks. The park is close to all public transport, so it is really a good way to force people to use public transport instead of using cars and adding to the already poluted earth. #beecofriendly

This would be a travesty. I often bring young relatives to the park as well as coming here when I was younger. Save the forest.
