Save Malahide Castle Demense Woodlands

I strongly object to the planning application at Malahide Castle by Fingal council to the wood land

Holy F**K (Fingal County Council Kleptrocracy), what a crazy stupid idea. Stop commercialising green spaces - leave the trees. Shame on any councillors voting in favour of this.

I'm living in Malahide and strongly object to this proposed development of Malahide Castle Demense, Find it hard to believe that a number of our so called public representatives who live in the area are actually supporting this. lets hope they are remembered next time they come looking for your vote.

I object to to the continued development and commercialism of Malahide Castle Demesne. I request that the Fingal County Council overturn their decision to proceed with the construction of a forest adventure centre in a fragile natural woodland environment and extension of the Bridgefield carpark

Can someone list our public representatives who support this development pls ?

Sorry I haven't signed this earlier. I live abroad and Just heard about it. And I'm in shock this idea was even considered.

This development will destroy a valuable local amenity.

Don't do this, think of things in the grand scale of life.

Please don't hand over this valuable amenity to a car park and private interest.

Malahide castle is an oasis and should be kept test way. No more commercial development should happen at the expense of what makes Malahide castle great!

This is another example of creeping commercialisation of citizens' open space. First space fenced off for the cricket .club. then Avoca development then the bicycle hiring business, then the extension of the intrusive train venture and now this woodlands' privatisation. Where will it end ? Is profit the only criterion of Fingal County Council ?It is the custodian of our common heritage not its usurper for private development .

I was born and raised in Malahide and my father Joe Farrelly tended the Gardens in the castle for many years . It's part of our history and Fingal County Council need to think again before thinking the people of Malahide will allow this to go forward !

I object to the proposal to develop the recreational in Malahide Castle

I wish to register my strongest objection to the proposed commercial development of Malahide Castle grounds. I ,my children and grand children have used this public park as public recreation facility.for the last 30 years. This development was approved without any discussion with the people of North County Dublin ,in order to facilitate commercial interests. John Egan
