I cant stress how much i protest to this idiotic proposal to damage this beautiful woodlands which is a protected heritage site for another concrete car park that no one needs or wants.

This is a disgrace. Malahide castle & grounds are a beautiful biodiverse wonderland of nature. Do our kids need more man-made "adventure parks" or more connection with the actual natural world. Anyone who wants can visit an adventure park anywhere out of metal plastic & concrete but it is so rare to be able to bring our children back into nature, walk around a real sanctuary where wildlife is abundant, nuts, berries & seeds are there to be picked up, explored, learned about, space to run & play & discover without any adult direction or organization. And some nameless men want to destroy all this for profit? Who profits? The park belongs to us & we already profit immeasurably. Please preserve this priceless amenity for us all & our children.

The park is not merely a tourist attraction, it is home to many creatures. The woodland areas are the basis of a lot of the charm of this park, a stark contrast to the overdevelopment seen elsewhere. Although I understand that the park and castle are popular destinations for tourists to the area, the park is most popular with local people, whose dogs and children love to adventure through the rugged 'wildness' of the areas of the park left to develop at the hands of nature only, not to conform to some developper's sketch. The addition of Avoca was enough, leave our park uncommercialised.

So sad.. Why? Just leave this beautiful woodland as it is!! My favourite place to visit almost everyday. Its so peaceful to have a walk there, don't destroy the nature!!

I object to the parklands plans for development at malahide castle. It will ruin the beauty of the entire village and castle area

Malahide Demesne must be preserved in ita current form for future generations.To change it to a so called adventure park would ruin what is a world class facility of tranquillity for all to enjoy.

I grew up close by and have fond memories of playing in the demesne woodlands as a child. Remember the sight of wildlife and delighting in the flora and fauna of the area and would wish that future generations would have the same opportunity.
