I vehemently oppose any development of this scale in an already under pressure green area of incredible importance. I use these castle grounds and so do thousands of people regularly and a development of this kind benefits no one except the company and owners of the proposed venture. It is not in the public interest in any way.

It is an absolute disgrace that such a huge development can be planned for Malahide park without consulting residents. Malahide park is currently used by thousands of people every year. As a primary school teacher, I have brought classes on FREE school trips to explore wildlife and play in the playgtound, something which is nearly impossible to do in Dublin these days. Every Saturday morning the park run takes place in Malahide castle, another free event for locals. Malahide park is a public park and should be left to be enjoyed by members of the public not turned into a (probably paid and extortionately expensive) carpark and a Zipit facility which will attract messy hen and stag parties to the area and cause local children and adults to lose out. Please vote no.

I am disgusted by this proposal and the manner in which it is being pushed through. Malahide castle is a wonderful amenity which is being gradually eroded by such private developments.

This proposal has been brought to a vote of the County Council without any proper or adequate consultation with the people who will be most affected - the people of Malahide. It is, essentially, a private development for the financial betterment of private interests and,as such, should be rejected out of hand. This facility is iconic in the minds of the thousands of people, local and otherwise, who have had the opportunity of enjoying it. VOTE NO!

Leave Malahide Castle alone. It was never intended that it was to be used by Fingal County Council to increase their parking revenue.

Every day, thousands of people from all over the world visit Malahide castle. Businesses must focus on attracting these people by tram, bicycle or on foot via a beautifully wooded 1 kilometer entrance-way. If we tear down paradise to put up a parking lot, we remove the red carpet which invites visitors into our village.

I was horrified to hear of the proposal to develop malahide castle, this is amenity that I visit daily to walk, my children spent so much time there as children and played countless matches on the bridgefield pitch, it would be sinful to vote yes to such a proposal and I totally oppose it as a resident of the area. Please think about what you will be taking from us

There are enough entertainment activities in Dublin, leave this beautiful natural place alone. Stop developing everything natural resource into a profit driven project.
Disgraceful.
I strongly object to this proposal.
