This is a short sighted and commercially driven decision.

I oppose the development of Malahide Demesne . This very valued amenity is treasured by the residents of Malahide and surrounding areas.

Malahide and the castle doesn't required this development as it is already a popular and busy area throughout the summer period. The woodlands centre would be in use for 4 months max a year and cause more congestion. The residents will lose out on their area and its uses for the remaining time of the year. Malahide has already lost some of its authenticity with such as Starbucks, Besh offs and Donnybrook fair opening. Stop selling us out

I've lived I'm Malahide close to the Castle demesne for 42 years and I want my grandchildren and theirs to continue to enjoy it in its natural state. This commercial activity would be entirely unwelcome and must be stopped.
