Nepalese soldiers and their relatives are neighbours of mine closure of the barracks would cause them hardship and disruption as well as detracting from the economy of the town

Dear Mrs Grant,I am as an Army Veteran so happy that you have taken on the cause of saving Maidstone Barracks,this is the home of the Gurka's one of the world finest Soldiers......and I salute you...and stop all this building to our lovely town and countryside,good luck with this petition.

I object to using already congested area for further new housing, they have already admitted that there will not be enough car parking, so where will people park their cars ??

We should keep the barracks in Maidstone for everybody's sake. Stop councils using army camps for housing. There is plenty of land available throughout Kent.
Instead of concentrating building in already congested towns ,such as Maidstone, look at other alternatives.
Maidstone planning needs rebooting!

The Invicta site is very large, is it not possible to use part of it for housing while retaining our valuable armed forces, or is our governments greed to sell everything that belongs to us simply clouding their judgement.
