This would be a tragedy to so many loyal Nepalese soldiers and to Maidstone that are so proud to have them stationed at these barracks. Please do not close it down.

Nepalese soldiers and their relatives are neighbours of mine closure of the barracks would cause them hardship and disruption as well as detracting from the economy of the town

I object to using already congested area for further new housing, they have already admitted that there will not be enough car parking, so where will people park their cars ??

We should keep the barracks in Maidstone for everybody's sake. Stop councils using army camps for housing. There is plenty of land available throughout Kent. Instead of concentrating building in already congested towns ,such as Maidstone, look at other alternatives. Maidstone planning needs rebooting!

The Invicta site is very large, is it not possible to use part of it for housing while retaining our valuable armed forces, or is our governments greed to sell everything that belongs to us simply clouding their judgement.

Valued part of the community. The council and governments greed and unsustainabillity on show. More houses in an overpopulated area.
