We need the Army to stay in Maidstone, to help combat TERRORISM. The Police cannot protect us thanks to CUTS in their numbers.

The soldiers and Nepalese should not be uprooted and moved from Maidstone where they are a vital part of our community.

These soldiers do a vital role and are part of our community. The government need to halt cutbacks and closures of bases especially in the current climate of uncertainty with the world. Keep Maidstone Barracks

I grew up near the barracks, I went to school in the 1960's with children from there. The soldiers and their families are an integral part of this town

I really hope the barracks stay operating, I have grown up right next to the barracks and have grown a strong bond with the Nepalese community who are very respectful.

The barracks has been and still is an important part in history and our future. Keep it in Maidstone. Let the currently serving soldiers and their families stay where they have their homes, schools and families

My husband served at the barracks twice in the 80s we also go up there regularly to support the REA and the regiment. It should definitely not be closed.
