We need communities, not houses. Leave this community alone.

What is happening in our country? Decent people in their homes being pushed out, whilst others get them free with all mod cons. A shambles !!

Please stop building more houses, leave it as the military barracks. Maidstone is becoming an awful place to live.

The Infrastructure around Maidstone can’t cope at the moment let alone with a few thousand more flats to be built. Stop the madness don’t do it.

Maidstone is already over crowded and lacking basic facilities. The army barracks and their families are a truly a pleasure and contribute to the local community

It’s ridiculous, not well thought through. They will only end up ripping it apart, building more houses, flats with no infrastructure to support it. The town is really starting to be a shambles! That aside, a wonderful piece of history going down the toilet.

Just awful how they are turning our beautiful market county town into a horrific inner city slum - protect the character of our garden town.......

This place has been my home before with Royal engineers, it’s part of Maidstone and would be detrimental to Maidstone to let it go.

I think it is very concerning the proposals to build yet another housing estate in an unsuitable location, with more pressure on the already stretched resources and infrastructure. The Council should think twice before selling off this area for housing, especially the amount that has been planned. Totally unsuitable!
