Let’s keep what’s left of the Forest a forest.

The reason we bought here 37 years ago was because if the beautiful forest. A police station does not belong so close to a rural neighborhood. Build it off of Route 9 where there is vacant land for sale!

Why is this even necessary?

Stop the incessant and unnecessary destruction of Malta, and particularly, Luther Forest. This is not why we moved here.

There is absolutely no need for this. It seems that every piece of land with forestry on it in Malta is being cut down/cleared to put up buildings and businesses. This isn’t The Lorax.

There are many options along Rt that are more appropriate.

I think we have enough other spaces that could be utilized for the police station that would not impact the residential space.

Renovations to current building for State Police would be welcomed ,, 2 story , larger parking lot , seems like the location is fine where it is ,, just update and expand. The forest animals are in a tough situation already as we all know who live here ,,

The police station is fine where it is now.

Why can they not rebuild at the current location? Why must we sacrifice more forested land? Please sign and help keep the Forrest Luther planted!

Move into Parade Grounds where there are plenty of empty buildings but to violate the privacy of residences when you have a perfectly good location is insulting to the community.

Clearing the forest for this is ridiculous. There are plenty of empty buildings to lease.

We already have a police station right off route 9, just renovate that on that one. Do not compromise public safety (police have easy access to 9 as things are at present) just to slap up another strip mall. I dont want state troopers peeling out through our neighborhood.

This is an HOA community. The Board of directors need to step up and protect our community.

We can't sacrifice our environment for energy gains.

There are so many other locations more appropriate for the proposed construction. I and my neighbors strongly oppose this . In addition to disrupting a neighborhood designed to be a green oasis amidst rampant , poorly planned development of Malta .The traffic increase will be hazardous to those of us who walk along Dunning regularly.

Placing the state police barracks in a residential neighborhood is bad planning. Further, placing the barracks this close to a traffic circle breaths traffic problems. If an improved barracks can’t be completed at the current location, look for other land in Malta. For example, the hair salon on Dunning Street was looking to sell their property,
