I like police presence. Not at this location…

There are much better options on route 9 where police would be able to quickly pull in and out in emergencies. A residential neighborhood is not appropriate

Crazy idea! What happened to live in a forest??

We need to preserve what is left of our green space and trees. There are other places for the police barracks.

Why would anyone in their right mind approve putting a trooper barracks in front of a beautiful, wooded residential development within Luther FOREST? Particularly when there are plenty of nonresidential places in Malta for it to go. It would not only be an eyesore which would lower property values and negatively effect that portion of the wooded ecosystem, but alsowhere the entrance and egress to the prospective building's parking lot would create a more dangerous intersection off of the circle where folks walk their dogs, kids ride bikes, and joggers who are attempting to cross the intersection.

Move it to where Stewarts used to be. IDK why it needs to be moved at all

Put the Troopers at a location in a commercial area. Stop degrading the Quality of Life of our neighborhood.

This is a bad idea. There must be another location available for this purpose.

The entrance to a residential neighborhood is a poor location for a state police barracks. It should be located in the business area of town- Rt. 9, Rt. 67, or Medical Park Drive. Somewhere with easy access to main thoroughfares. Having the main entrance and exit on Partridge Drum is ridiculous.

Why does the State Trooper barracks have to built in a quiet residential area. First it was the Firehouse and now this. Plenty of other areas that can accommodate this project without destroying more woodlands.

As stated we went through this with the fire dep't 10 or so years ago. The location of the current fire house is far superior to what it would have been on Dunning St. Same would be true for the State Police. That bit of forrest should be kept as is and any barracks located where the police have rapid access to the highway, which Dunning St is not! Who are the idiots that can't grasp this concept? Does anyone know if there are going to be public meeting regarding this idea?

This will impact my property more than most. I’m all for a new police barracks but not willing to lose anymore privacy.

The area in question isn’t forever wild?

I want the barracks in Malta but located in more of a business/commerce area, not in the midst of a neighborhood.

I am sure there are other places where you don’t have to destroy the forest lands to put this. Please preserve the forest.

Stop trying to destroy the beautiful entrance to Luther Forest by trying once again to develop this small piece of land that should remain undeveloped forever.

I agree that this is not a good location for the state police barracks. Dunning Street is not wide enough for vehicular traffic to move over to accommodate State Troopers quick exit from the proposed property. Here are other more suitable and accessible locations within the town of Malta. Please keep Luther Forest residential.

The town of Malta needs to stop destroying green space and Forest , enough is enough on both residential and commercial development.

I vote against building the police station in Luther Forest.
