Save Longview

I went to Longview and because of where this school is located and how they run the school I graduated. I wouldnt have graduated if it wasnt for Longview High School.

I know past students and current students of this school and I know how much this school means to them. I hope this school can still prosper in education and love for the students.

This school has given me an opportunity to change my life around. Without us being on top of the hill we wouldn't get our "long view".

Long View has been the best place for all of us. It's our home!

School helps so many at risk kids be a shame for it to be closes

As "Auntie" of one of Longview's students, as well as a graduate of a similar type of school, closing Longview closes one of the best options for non-traditional students. I have witnessed an amazing transformation in my niece. She is once again engaged, driven, and dedicated to graduating. Longview has given her opportunity, support, guidance, and confidence to succeed. It would be a disservice to our youth to remove the postive option Longview provides. My own alternative school was closed due to budget cuts. It hurts my soul to think of the hundreds of kids who no longer have a more-fitting option rather than a traditional high school. We cannot put our youth in preconceived boxes and expect all to excel in the same manner. Do not close Longview, these are truly some of the most gifted kids in the district.

I graduated from this school two years ago and this school changed my life. I would have never graduated or even be where I am today. This school helps people. This school shows people their abilities and everyone is treated as an equal. This school does not deserve to be gone. This school has changed more lives than you could imagine

I know many people who have graduated here, and plenty more on their way. This is an amazing school where students try their best to succeed in any way possible. The teachers (of whom I've only met a few) love all of their students and try their best to see them graduate. I hope Jeffco can see the importance of this wonderful school.

This school is the best thing that ever happened to me. They helped me turn my life around for the good and gave me a the best learning environment that a student could ask for

This school was the magic pill for my child who loves to learn but did not do well in traditional school.

I am a student of Longview and the school changed my educational career. This school is amazing how it already is, the small student populous strongly contributes to how we all build closer and stronger friendships. Most of us we're already the "rejects" of our previous school and by putting us into a school with more than 200 people would most likely revert us back into being the rejects. Longview is such a safe haven for students like us, that it must stay the way it is for us to grow to the best of our abilities and have a chance to graduate without being overwhelmed by other student bodys.

Please save Longview. Lives depend on it.

Please save our school! Please keep it where it is. What makes so many kids succeed at long view is where it is located; away from a big school.

my step-daughter graduated from one in Glenwood Springs, CO. It saved her future. Please don't close Longview!

Please leave Longview High School where it is so they can continue to provide an education and support to kids who otherwise msy not graduate.

Education is the answer to so many plagues in society. Any solution that's working is worth keeping, especially one that's working for kids at risk. Help us care for all our kids and leave Longview in it's home! Thank you.

Please provide continuity for these kids!

Some of my friends had gone to this school, and to this day they say it had helped them more than any other high school they went to. If anything we need more schools like this in the community.
