After moving from Georgia, we specifically moved to Lone Star district so our son could go to Lone Star. We stayed in the district for our daughter to go there. Smartest thing we have ever done!

I had children transferred into lonestar for a span of 11 years. Lone Star prepared them academically for a high school, far better than other local schools could have.

This school is amazing. I went there for 10 years and graduated. I would hate for it to close. There are children who love it there. It's a home for me and always will be.

Both my children went to LONE STAR SCHOOL and three of my Grandchildren. I have a Great Grand Daughter that is 2 months old and I want to make sure she will be able to go to this wonderful school. Shame on you Brian Bingman for even considering a bill of sort. If you lived in a rural area and had children going to a great established independent school as Lone Star you would never even consider a bill like that and you would stand up for the right thing and shred this bill to pieces. Have a heart and soul and consider the thoughts and feelings of others and stand up and fight for us and our children and their children. It can start with you Brian to make a differents in our community.

This is heartbreaking. Please find other ways to cut and save. Do not close Lone Star, a school of tradition and great teachers. Our children deserve the best and that's what they have with Lone Star School.
