Save London Ontario Festivals

I'm not originally from here and one of the reasons I fell in love with this city was because of Home County and Sunfest.

We need our festivals in the park. I love them. Do not let a handful of whiners influence the decision-makers and spoil it for the everyone else!

This city is getting pathetic

Let's keep the music!!

If anything the current fines should be abolished. The revenue these concerts bring to the city far outweighs the noise.

Music is life and life is Music. Since when id pur City becone so prude. These festivals bring people together and raise money. Dont punish them.

I have been attending Sunfest every single year for the last 15 years. I look forward to this, and other outdoor festivals like it, every year. The music, the food, the people and the sense of community that come with this festival and others like it are fantastic and it would be a real shame if they had to shut it down due to heavy fines. These types of festivals are brief and for the most part, take place the same day(s) every year so residents know when to expect them. Instead of complaining, try attending!

I used to live at 155 Kent Street, with my spare room / den / tv room overlooking Victoria Park, and I personally LOVED the music coming from the park during the festivals!

I'm afraid if there are increased noise fines/rules, the city of London will lose one of the only draws it has. If these fines get increased, the small group of people complaining will always go on to find something else to complain about because they can never be satisfied with anything. Its sad that the enjoyment and livelyhood of so many has to be squashed by a few individuals. Not to mention how much money the festivals bring in and tourists they attract. These festivals are good for the city and its residents!

They are economically and culturally important.

This will only lead to terminating festivals which are very good for the city.

Music and people integration is more important please!!

I love this festival I go every year.

I live a few blocks from all the downtown festival venues and it's absolutely NO BOTHER. Every feat has respected 11-12pm curfew and it brings tonnes of people downtown- that is what the city wants, right?

this is crossing the line. No ine is complaining aboit that noise and if they are they really shouldnt be living in the core with festivals happening almost every week.

If people want to live downtown then they need to live with the concerts and festivals the City of London puts on every summer.

Festivals are an integral part of Londons tourism, they bring life to our city and money to our businesses. This new law, if put into practice, would only damage our city, not improve it in any way.

I love that our community has the amount of festivals it has. Please don't take them away by limiting them. Im not behind the scenes but from what I see these festivals are respectful of the rules now. Music is good for the soul! Let it be!

These musical events are what keep London tourism thriving and continuing economic growth.
