has anyone tried to woo these people with something special from the festivals that would overcome the noise complaints. 7 people should not have such an effect on festivals...not very democratic.

As long as the noise bylaw remains as it is the police would be expected to enforce it even if they receive only 1 complaint. So, how about it City Hall? Do you really want to run the festivals out of London? Take your minds off Springbank damn for 15 minutes and fix this at least.

I attended the London Bluesfest every year since it was started. I drove an hour to see the show and stayed over night at a London hotel. So I spent hundreds of dollars when you take into consideration the cost of hotel, show tickets, meals, souvenirs, parking and tips and we met other people that had done the same thing. I can't understand how London which is my hometown can still be as backward as it is in regard to summer programs. The 60's were the same why can't the city grow up as it has grown in the last 50 years.

The park is an ideal location to provide amplified, musical entertainment. The proposal to measure sound from the outer perimeter of the park is reasonable.
