Save London Ontario Festivals

Save the music. I'm a senior and I'm good with it. Stop ruining every festival. Lost balloon fest and air show. City Hall should be ashamed of themselves.

Enough already outdoor festivals have been a mainstay of London since I arrived keep the arts and music alive.

Let the festivals continue without bilaws

London needs to be proactive to these festivals not making bylaws to send them elsewhere

I love music and life. London has the best festival in Ontario: Sunfest

This petition is very important to me. Festivals like Sunfest, Home County and Rock the Park are simply the best thing about London. Thousands of people look forward to these festivals all year and they are one of the reasons I don't regret not moving to a bigger city when I graduated from Western.

Don't shut down the festivals. Exceptions should be made for festivals and concerts! And I live right down town!

Sunfest is a tremendous economic benefit to London. We vend an bring a sraff of six. Buy meals and pay for hotels. We love the energy of the music. Don't rain on Sunfest!

I live close to downtown and love hearing the festivals that take place. They are the sounds of summer. I also work morning shifts at the hospital due on the floor at 6 am. NOT ONCE has a concert kept me up when I had to work!! Not ONCE!!! Stop raining on everyone's fun. If you live in a city, a building, or have neighbours there will be noise. That is the consequence of your choice when you decide to live in these places. If you want peace and quiet 24/7 move out into the country where no one is around!!!

Keep the entertainment where it's been for decades!

I think this proposal is unrealistic and would be detrimental to the culture London has been trying to cultivate as a music hub for years, and it would result in a huge loss of revenue for the city.

London festivals are the best!!!

Don't be silly. This would be the final nail in the coffin for downtown London. This year we planned our trip back to London from Vancouver just to take our baby to Sunfest.

I enjoy hearing them from my yard as well as wandering around the venues.

The more festivals downtown the better. That's a major attraction for people who desire to live in the core. Why would anyone live downtown if they didn't want to experience the great attractions of a vibrant, exciting atmosphere?

Festivals are a big part of London. So many families are able to take in these festivals for no cost or very little. Please don't take this away from most Londoners for the few people that complain. If it bothers you that much, then move.

Music festivals are an integral part of city culture and bring unique economic and social opportunities to communities. It would be very unfortunate to see such vibrant features of London caged in by a few residents who can't sacrifice a few days out of the year to shed their grumpy sentiments and appreciate the benefit to their community. It is not as if anyone's health or well being is threatened. The annoyances of a few days of music can be measured the same as crying babies, dogs barking, lawn mowers, traffic and sirens. We all live here, it's a give and take relationship, let's not ruin a good thing.
