Build the Parking Garage FIRST

We need parking like crazy.

Don't let us become another Redwood City. Building more parking is essential!

I walk downtown whenever I can, but sometimes you have to have a car! I've had to give up engagements downtown entirely because of lack of parking at peak hours. Businesses like Aida felt like the lack of parking led to their demise.

I have decided to move my office from the downtown area because of this very reason as my clients have difficulty finding parking.

The number one complaint from our guests at Alana's Café and Sixto's is how hard it is to find parking and people don't come downtown as often because it is frustrating. It goes without saying all of us business owners need the opportunity to host as many customers possible.

I am a DTBG member and small business owner. Parking has been a huge challenge, no parking is available for guests and employees. Construction vehicles should be ticketed in the downtown area and forced to park away closer to or on east side of tracks. They are taking away valuable parking space from the people coming to the businesses and driving that revenue growth.

Parking is already an issue if clients can no longer find long term parking they will go somewhere else there are so many construction trucks already parked in the exsisting parking places there are very few spots left already

As a native of the area I have seen the changes in Burlingame. I regularly come to Burlingame for appointments and shopping parking is definitely needed.

This makes the most sense for Burlingame. The plan to demolish two parking structures at the same time is absolutely idiotic and clearly there have not been significant impact studies done.

I work in Burlingame and find the search for parking to be increasingly difficult at most times of the day and early evening through 10 PM. This is becoming a county wide epidemic of building housing and putting in restaurants with little thought to parking impact. It is distressing and has seriously caused me to think about moving out of the area.

We are very limited as far as parking goes already. We need the garage at this location to be built first for the office tenants in the area.

Parking is the biggest problem facing Burlingame! Is is enough that I avoid all the there 11am - 2 pm and after 6 pm.

Build the parking structure before more construction is done. Burlingame needs more parking.

Bayswater is already extremely crowded especially with St. Catherine Of Siena school and church. Further down Bayswater towards California are parking spots without hourly restrictions. I drive by this area every day, and it is a goldmine for people to park their cars for as long as they want, so it is always extremely crowded. Adding so many apartments will make parking in that general area completely untenable!

I am a business owner in DTBG! It is imperative that we not only replace parking, but create much more!

Love Burlingame. Please build parking before doing more construction!
