Should have been done ages ago with all the idiotic things that happen down that road! What will it take? I'm sure if it was someone of importance to the county or country it would have been done by now.

This bypass needs a central reservation as too many lives are lost or badly affected after serious road accidents.

Seems like barriers are what's needed to save lives. My sympathy's to the victims and their family's and friends. Lets see something done to prevent more injury and death!

Very happy to sign this petition, clearly something needs to be done about it. I've seen countless people doing u turns along it and it's clearly too fast and busy a road to carry on without a central reservation.
Can I suggest though, that Cornwall Council should be one of the recipients of this petition as it obviously has an interest. But the A30 is a trunk road, and under the jurisdiction of the government through Highways England. So the petition should be sent to the areas MPs (half of the Hayle bypass is in the St Ives Constituency and the other half in Camborne, Redruth and Hayle) so both Derek Thomas and George Eustice and perhaps the Transport Minister Chris Grayling.

I had someone do a u turn two cars in front of me! I managed to swerve but the car in front hit them side on! Fortunately no was killed! Something needs to be done!
