I too have seen ,(on several occasions) cars and even COACHES and LORRIES overtaking on double lines over this section and U TURNS on a busy bypass?????These people must have a death wish!!!!

My close friend had a terrible accident there because a driver fell asleep and crossed into oncoming traffic. This was about 10yrs ago and it severely affected her life from that point onwards, she was a young mum at the time and had terrible injuries.

I often use the Hayle bypass and agree it must have a safety barrier installed. I heard about this accident on the radio whilst at work, hope those poor people recover soon.

Signage rarely works, a barrier is needed. Cost should not come into this as it is essential to safeguarding life.

I've seen people do u-turns a few times. A little temporary sign doesn't stop people. Get the barriers up!!

This accident black-spot needs addressing. Similar roads with intermittent overtaking lanes have been changed (Peranworthal).

With 5,000 per annum extra people moving down here n millions of tourists the council really need to look at our roads n how dangerous they're becoming with all the terrible accidents that have been happening the past few months
