It needs a barrier, too many terrible drivers on the roads

This type of road is the most dangerous of all. It was known at the time, but justified because of the cost and anticipated low use due to the fact that the resident population was only a third of the summer levels. It seems that deliberately constructing roads with known high death rate statistics is not considered as causing death by premeditated negligence. I think it is, and an enquiry should be held to hold the decision makers to account. This death road needs to be made safe with the same urgently as the Grenfell Fire tragedy corrective action.

A barrier could have saved lives before now and would save many in the future. It is the responsible action to take.

I was first on the scene of the fatal RTA last year on 8 August 2016. The 83 year old driver did a U turn from a lay by on the A30 between Loggans Moor and St Erth straight into the path of a van driving at around 60mph who had no chance of avoiding the car. This was such a tragedy not only for the gentlemen who died, but the poor van driver who has undoubtedly been affected by this accident.
